Born on May 16th 1937, in Brennan’s Hill Quebec, Ronnie lived a life defined by kindness, dedication , hard work, humor, love of family and many friends. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother (in-law) and friend. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Martin de Porres Parish.
Ronnie was known for a few personal traits—the famous toothpick in his mouth, sense of humor, storytelling, and quiet strength. He took great pride in farming at the Brennan homestead in Brennan’s Hill, his 66 Chevelle - “our66”, watching Wade and Jack play hockey, watching Maggie dance and of course every Friday night out for supper with Brody.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marlene of 59 years, his children Sean (Erica) and Shannon (Alain) 4 grandchildren, Brody, Wade (Abbigail), Maggie-Kate and Jack. 2 great grandchildren Crew and Brae and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Joseph (Denise) and sister Mamie.
Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the time we had with him and the legacy of love he leaves behind. His lessons, laughter, and unwavering support will live on in all of us.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Martin de Porres Parish (3891 Old Richmond Rd, Nepean, ON K2H 5C1) on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. A reception for family and friends will follow in the church hall.
