Obituary of Konstantinos "Gus" Kalogeropoulos

Konstantinos “Gus” Kalogeropoulos passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26th in his 86 th year. Born and raised in the village of Loutro, Kalamata, Greece.

 

He was the beloved son of Dimitrios and Christina and the youngest of seven siblings, predeceased by Vasili, Maria, Tasso, John, and Panayiota, and survived by his sister Eleni. Gus was husband to his wife, Fay, and a proud father to Christina (Ignatios) and Dimitrios (Freda). He was a loving grandfather to Harry, Kosta, Nicoletta, Kosta, and Andreas. 

 

Gus will be greatly missed for his gentleness, caring and loving soul that has touched the lives of many of his family and friends, near and far.

 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (1315 Prince of Wales Drive), on Thursday, April 2nd. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral service will follow at 11:00am and followed by interment at Pinecrest Remembrance Services (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C 1M5), followed by a Makaria reception in the Church Hall, lower level.


In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that a donation be made in memory of Gus to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church.

 

In the Donation Note, please indicate “In memory of Konstantinos “Gus” Kalogeropoulos.”
