For anyone who doesn’t know me, I am Gaurang Naik. I am friend, previous co-worker and was right hand saagrid for ‘Narendrabhai Patel’ at his work place. He was my dear friend’s uncle, and so I called him ‘Mama’ as well. I liked calling him Mama, and felt like, it created a bonding between us. Mama was a great man. His hard work, caring nature, and love for life are some of the many traits that characterized this amazing and loving person. Mama’s sense of humor was exceptional, that would for sure put a smile on anybody’s face. He himself was always smiling and a charming personality. Mama was not only funny; he was exceptionally bright. He was brilliant with numbers, several times he helped me with my taxes. He would never leave a chance where he could help somebody, as he himself battled and won many challenges in his life. He was a true warrior of life, and that spirit was clearly seen in his game of Cricket. He was an ardent fan and lover of the Cricket. He was amazing bowler. I witnessed that first hand as I accompanied him for Cricket matches and practice sessions after work. All team players loved him and respected him a lot. Mama gave me my first job, and to date I am so thankful to him. I learnt a lot from Mama on accounting that I find it useful in whatever I do. He was very patient with me, and would always support me with any issues. I still feel lucky to have Mama as my mentor. Mama was a true family man. He loved, cared, supported and did everything possible for his family. He would always be forthcoming for any help needed. His humble personality made him popular and loved with his friends as well. For many years, I have moved away but his memories are still fresh and thriving. I am really thankful to everything he has done to help me and everybody he knew. I love you Mama and will miss you dearly for the rest of my life. Om Shanti!
