After just recently celebrating her 90th birthday, Betty peacefully went to "be with her John" (Grierson) on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Beloved mom of John, Michael and Catharine. Loving Nan to Tommy (Janet), Laurie, Jenny (Dylan) and Sarah (Andrew Acheson). Great Nan to David (Tara), Beckie, Taylor and Edward and most recently Great Great Nan to Teagan Cole. Predeceased by her son David and her grandson Andrew Weeks. Betty and John shared many many fun times with family and friends, there were many parties, many cruises, trips, now they will finally be together to share in the final journey. A private family service will be held, followed by a Celebration and Reception on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Cemetery Reception Centre (2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa).
