Obituary of Diane Ayre

It is with great sadness that we announce that, after a brief battle with cancer, Diane passed away peacefully at home on Saturday December 19. Beloved wife of John Ayre

She is survived by her brothers Richard Bruyere, Daniel (Mariana) Bruyere, and her sister-in-law Susan Groleau. Predeceased by her brother Marc (Marilyn) Bruyere. She will be sadly missed by her nieces Courtney (Jeff) Brown, Jennifer (François-Michel) Groleau and Kathryn Bruyere, and her nephews Graeme (Veronica) Ayre, Christopher (Laura) Groleau. She will not be forgotten by her lifelong friend Joanne (Rick) Matton.

Diane spent all of her working career with organizations dedicated to helping others, CHEO, Canadian Blood Services, and Heart and Stroke.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a Memorial Service will take place at a later date. For those wishing to do so, donations can be made to the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Center.
