Obituary of Joyce Norma Wilson

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2021 in her 92^nd year. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Hal in 2008; and her sisters Lois & Bernice. Loving mother of Val (Jamie), Grant (Brenda), Heather (Greg) and David (Laurie). Proud grandmother of Jayme, David, Janna, Ryan, Sam, Tai and great grandmother of Gabriel, Keaton, Jace, Mila.

Joyce was a teacher, having graduated from McGill in Physical Education. She was an avid tennis and badminton player; a lifelong bridge player (master) and teacher; an enthusiastic world traveler and Florida snowbird for over 25 years. She will be missed by all, but we can be grateful that she enjoyed a full and active life.

There will be a Private Family Service and inurnment at Pinecrest Cemetery. If friends desire, memorial donations to a charity supporting brain research, Brain Canada Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
