Obituary of Abey Mekonen Yohannes

Abey was born in January 01, 2001 in the city of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. Abey was the third son of Birtukan Assefa, a brother to Robel and his sister Hana Mekonen. Abeys kindergarten and elementary years were in Addis. After staying a couple of years in Sudan and Egypt with his mother he came to Canada on September 27, 2017 and settled in Ottawa. As soon as he settled in Ottawa he went to Woodroof High School working in Walmart and Petrocanada at the same time and graduted in honors. Abey was a talented basketball player and swimmer. In his spare time he worshipped the Lord he loved so much playing keyboard. Abey was a humble intelegent and obedient young man.
