Obituary of Marion Marks

Marion Isobel Marks, RN (nee Grierson) entered into her heavenly home on May 21,2022 at the age of 98. Cherished wife of the late Clem Marks, loving mother of the late Rev.Polly (Doug Torrance), Rev.Marg (the late Rev.David Gingrich), the late Rod and daughter-in-law Donna (Bob White), Jan (Bill Cassidy). Special grandmother to Michelle Melissa, Meghan, Brodie, Kailee, Kristy, Lindsay and 19 great-grandchildren. She was loved by her sisters Grace (deceased), Florence (deceased), Esther (deceased), Helen and Ruth and her special friend and sister-in-law the late Dora Graham. Marion was raised on a farm in Kinburn, On. She left the farm to train to become a nurse at the Civic Hospital. Her nursing career lead her to the The Perley Hospital, the Civic hospital, The Shawville Pontiac Community Hospital and The H.H Williams Memorial Hospital in Hay River, NWT. She loved The Lord with all her heart and her desire was to serve Him and others. The family would like to thank the staff at The Ravines for the loving care and support shown to mom over the last 7 years.  We invite you to join us as we celebrate her life on May 28, 2022, at 11:00 am at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Ottawa, ON There will be a visitation at 10:00 in the Church prior to the service. Internment will take place at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Shawville, Quebec at 3:00 pm. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Ottawa Valley Pentecostal Camp.
