Obituary of Julie Pelletier

Julie Pelletier died peacefully in hospital surrounded by her family and friends after a short and courageous battle with cancer on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the age of 45 years. Beloved wife of Adel Hassoun and devoted mother to her son Jacob. Daughter of Jules Pelletier and of the late Gloria Pelletier (nee Sakach). Daughter-in-law of the late George Hassoun and Natalia Hassoun. She leaves behind her brother Richard, his wife France and their children Isabelle and Gabriel. Her sister-in-law Linda, her husband Nemr Bechara and their children Letitia and Ryan. Her brother-in-law, Karim Hassoun. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

The family will receive family and friends at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 11:30 a.m until  1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service and interment. 

The family would like to thank the wonderful and dedicated staff at the Ottawa General Hospital Oncology unit 5E for their attentive care and support during her stay.  

In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
