Obituary of Carrie Horton

Born in Tupperville, N.S.  Peacefully passed February 27, 2023 at age 95 in Ottawa.  Precious mother of Wanda, Karen (John), Dwayne (Bonnie), Kimberly (Kimmerly) and the late Wendy (Ben).  Adored Gramma of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Pearl MacLellan.

Predeceased by loving husband Owen, parents ElRoy and Lorna Bent, siblings Elroy, Beryl, Guy, Sheila and Eric. Carrie’s love of life will be fondly remembered by family and friends.  She will be dearly missed by all. 

The family thanks the staff of Carleton Lodge for Mom’s good care since March 2017. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. For those who wish to join the service virtually, please click HERE to view the Service.
