Obituary of Connor Whiteside

With devastating sadness, we announce the passing of our son Connor on March 4, 2023.

Connor was born February 22, 1993 at the Civic Hospital to Donna and James Whiteside. An Ottawa resident his whole life, Connor enjoyed the outdoors, classic cars, and rock and roll. Connor will especially be remembered not only for his quick wit, infectious laugh and welcoming energy, but also for his 1970 Duster, which was blessed by a priest at his local church in Corkery. Connor is survived by his brother Randall, his beloved Grandmother Alvina and many Uncles, Aunties, and cousins. He is especially missed by his best friend on four legs, Rocky.  He leaves a massive hole in the hearts of his family and friends.

We’d like to thank everyone who loved, invested in, taught, coached, and supported Connor during his short time with us… we can’t thank you enough! After all, it's people who make the difference and enrich our lives. Tell your peeps you love them, don’t be so hard on yourself and remember -> God doesn’t make junk.

There will be a private celebration of life, with the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please consider an In Memoriam donation to the Salvation Army.
