Obituary of Doreen Strawe-Ives

Dorren, aged 68 years of MacLaren Street, Ottawa, Ontario  entered peacefully into rest on 9 June 2023.

Daughter of Vernon and Gwendolyn Strawe – Ives (deceased). Mother of Patrick Carmola (Ricky), Yolande Carmola, Loren Whittingham (Pete) and Chase Schwarz (Alex). Mother-in-law of  Mayona Carmola and Shannie McGinnis. Grandmother of Kyana, Emmileigh, Malikhai, Patrick, Samuel, Nalani, Dustin and Kaley. Great grandmother of Jasper and cousin of many. Sister of Astra Babb (Barbados), Floris Duncan, Brenda Boston, Stuart Ives, Rose Marie Clarke, Winsome Packer and Audrey Ives (USA). Aunt of  Norman, Gina, Gregory, Maxia, Teddy, Sharon, Dale, Craig, Owen, Adion, Barry,  Robert, Jason, and Chad. Friend of Sister Evelyn, Sister Marva and many others, and relative of the Pinnock, Christian and Beckford families of Jamaica.

A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, 14 June 2023 at The Met Chapel, 2176 Prince of Wales Drive, Nepean, Ontario where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 pm.
