So very sad to read of Malcolm’s passing. My husband, Marvin Rotrand, & I spent many lovely evenings at parties, drinking wine & swapping stories with him and his friends. He was a wonderful man and an absolute delight to be with. Our condolences to his family and friends.

My wife and I knew Malcolm many years ago when he lived in Montreal and was associated with the Opimian Wine Society. He was the nicest, funniest an most pleasant person we have ever known. RIP Malcolm we miss you. Cheers!

Such a wonderful, giving and entertaining man. When I bought my house in 1997 on Hampton Avenue, a couple of doors away from Malcolm, he was very quick to educate us as to our garden, and helped me set up a level foundation for our shed in the backyard. And, of course, the wonderful tales he would share about his many and varied exploits and travels. May he RIP.

Malcolm was our wonderful neighbour on Hampton Avenue for many years. We enjoyed many laughs together, he kept our shared hedge well trimmed and he often shared the leftovers from his wine tastings.
Many years ago he did a great job of edging our front garden bed with rocks he supplied. I kept the rocks well "weeded" for many years (if you don't they sink down and disappear), but since I converted my lawn to a garden and added paths, they finally did "disappear" over the past few years. Yesterday, I cleaned out that garden and found all of the hidden rocks. They are now lining our garden on the south side and look really nice. They have reappeared in honour of Malcolm!
RIP Malcolm, we miss you.
