Obituary of Evelyn Armstrong

Evelyn passed away peacefully on October 31, 2023. Loving mother of Katie, Brendan (Kaitlyn), and Andrea (Liam). Proud Grandma to Luke and Owen. Predeceased by her husband, Harry, and brother Hugh. Survived by sister Penny (Kenny) and brother Robert (Brenda). She will be fondly remembered by many friends, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Special thanks to everyone who helped with meals, drives to appointments, and companionship during her illness. Many thanks to her family doctor who provided excellent care, as well as the teams at Bayshore Health, The Ottawa Hospital, and the Champlain Palliative Program for their help, advice, care, and support. Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m.  A memorial service will be held in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel on Monday, November 6th at 11 a.m.
