I met Bob in 1974 when he hired me with my first job after university at Lumonics. Such a great guy, immensely in tune with business and staff. Nothing but fond memories of Bob, his cars and yearly summer parties and Christmas hijinks. My very sincere condolences to Mary and family. I will always remember Bobby as an eight year old kid at Maxwell School, wearing a"Jughead" hat, made by cutting zig zags around the crown of an old fedora. His sister, Phyllis was a good friend. Sending hugs and good memories. Jeanie Maennling (McIvor)

Thanks Jeanie. I remember seeing a picture of Bob wearing that hat. If I am correct, I think,you sent him that picture. We will miss Bob but he is at peace and free from pain!

Although we’ve known Bob for just a few years he left a huge impact on our lives. A kind and gentle man with a beautiful soul. He is missed terribly. Our condolences to Mary, her strength and love carried him through his battle till the end. We consider ourselves lucky to have know him for he left us with his legacy to be better person. What an amazing man who had such a big influence on my younger self and a handful of other young accountants. He inspired us all and forced us to always be better. As the leader of the Leigh FOFF-Fine Order of Financial Fellows he also led us in after work activities. He is tremendously missed!!
