Mathews, Lloyd (John Gerard)

November 3, 1938 – December 13, 2023

After a valiant battle with cancer, Lloyd passed away at home comforted by family, whom he loved dearly.

Devoted husband and soulmate to his late wife Ann (Franklin).  Cherished father to David (Jo-ann) and to Leann (Derrick Edwards).  Proud Poppa to Samantha (Peter Alves), Jackelyn, Katrina, Jennifer (Nick Cousins) along with his only grandson Joshua (Jazmine Jewitt) and step grandson Brandon Edwards.  Great grandfather to Nathanial, Mathew, Lucas, Zackery, Travis, Harper and Wrenly.  Predeceased by his parents William and Germaine Mathews; sister Mary and brother Bill.  Loving brother to Gayle (Ray Cormier).  Loved brother-in-law and friend to Pegi Flood (Brian Robinson).  Dear Uncle to several nieces and nephews. 

Memorial Service will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa on December 23 at 10:30am.  For those who wish to join the service virtually, you may do so using the SERVICE LINK.
