My family and I are very sad of Al’s passing. He is always the one we can count on, and a close cousin of Alex. Sympathies and condolences to the Aguirre family... Alyer is the first Filipino I met in Canada since he, together with my aunt and grandma, was the one who picked me up at the Ottawa airport when I first arrived in 1973. We've been friends ever since and always kept in touch. May the Lord bless his soul.....
