Obituary of Susan Mary Anna Pridmore

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Mary Anna Pridmore on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 in her 44th year.

Loving partner of Saam Askari, beloved daughter of Cheryl Blake and Robert Pridmore, loving sister to Kimberly Robichaud (nee Pridmore) (Michael), loved daughter-in-law to Fatima and Mostafa Askari, and sister-in-law to Naaz (Brad Killeen), proud Aunt to Eaden, Tyler, Addison, and Jake Robichaud and Caleb and Blake Killeen. Susan was much loved by her many Aunts and Uncles, Elizabeth (Ken McFarlane), Margo Feeney, Barb (Rick Brawn), Gloria (Peter Walsh), Paul Blake, Peter Blake, Mark Blake, Gary Blake, Tim Blake (Wendy), Shelley (Brent Smith), Allan Blake (Sherry) and her 21 loving cousins.

Susan had a deep love and passion for family, friends, life, travel, and dogs. She loved her work as Event Manager to the President’s Office, Communications and Public Relations at Algonquin College and those she worked with. She loved the outdoors (9 months of the year) and was passionate about fitness and nutrition.

Susan will always be remembered for her smile, her love of life, and her deep care for the wellbeing of others. She held her family close to her heart, along with her very close circle of friends. Susan wants everyone to know that she was so thankful to be loved as much as she was. The lives she leaves behind are forever touched with her love, light, friendship, generosity, and guidance. She will be forever in our hearts.

A special thank you to the staff, nurses and doctors at The Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, 6th floor, especially Dr. Condon, Dr. Whetter, nurses Anna-Lisa, Connie, and Marcel and to Dmitri Sanoy of Bayshore Home Care.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 11^th from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa (Pinecrest Cemetery) and a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, March 12^th at 1:00pm (also available on live stream HERE.)
