Obituary of Glenn Fobert

Glenn passed away peacefully at Almonte General Hospital, Saturday, March 23, 2024, a week before his 93^rd birthday. He was the son of the late Lloyd and Beryl Foubert and brother to Gale.

He shared 65 years of devoted marriage with his loving wife Norma until 2019. He will be missed especially by his children, David (Ginny), Christine (Allen), Kathy (Dan), and Jamie (Dom), grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Rachel, Lisa, Mathew, Nathaniel and Christopher, and great grandchildren, Lenox, Bowie, Xanthe and Finn. 

Glenn was born and raised in Ottawa, studied engineering in Toronto, and worked at Alcan in Kingston before returning to Ottawa. He always enjoyed being involved in the church, singing in the choir and quartets, teaching Sunday school, leading youth groups, writing books, and challenging pastors.

A celebration of his life will be held at a future date (June-July) when all of the family can be present.
