Obituary of Brenda Saberton

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Saberton (nee Lyon) on June 23rd, 2024. She passed away peacefully at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice, Kanata. She was the beloved wife of Roger, and a loving and proud mother of her children, Linda , Barbara and Paul. A loving grandmother of her 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Lily, Hannah, Vandeven and Sloan. 

Brenda was a remarkable and vibrant person and was loved and respected by her many friends. She loved life fully and gave of herself to local organisations , such as the Engineers Wives’ Association. Brenda always loved her adventurous world travels with her devoted husband of 66 years. She will be sadly missed..

A sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Ruddy Shenkman hospice for their kindness and compassion to both Brenda and her family. Donations in Brenda’s memory can be made to the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice.

Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 11am to 12pm at Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 McGee Side Rd, Carp, ON.
