Obituary of Ferdinando Straccini

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ferdinando (Nando) Straccini on the morning of Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Nando was predeceased by his father Gino, mother Perlina (Temperini) and brother Filiberto from their small town in Italy, San Lorenzo in Campo, Marches.  Beloved husband of Irma Straccini (Tomassetti). Loving father of Roberto (Caroline McCarthy) and Carlo. Loving grandfather of Nicholas. He maintained his sense of humor up until the end. Family meant everything to him. Our thanks go out to Dr. Miller and the staff at Villa Marconi for the great care and support.

Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at St. Mary’s Parish, 100 Young St. Ottawa.  This will be immediately followed by the entombment and a reception at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa.
