I am deeply saddened by the news of her passing. She was a wonderful aunt to me, and I will always cherish the memories of the summers I spent with her in Canada. She was so kind and generous and always made me feel welcome in her home.
Although I had many childhood memories of her, my favorite was playing ping pong in her basement. For those who didn’t know she was a championship ping pong player and taught me how to play. Till this day, people always comment on my “weird” (Penhold) grip that I use. I am so grateful to her for teaching me this and her words of wisdom she has given whenever we spoke. Hung Gu, you will be missed.
To my cousins and Gu Zoeng, I'm so sorry and hope you find the strength overcome this tremendous loss.
