Obituary of Frances Ann Bylo (Nee White)

Frances Ann Bylo, predeceased by her beloved husband Louis (1969), passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on August 21, 2024 with her loving family at her side.  Daughter of the late Richard and Leona White (nee McLewin), Frances was born in Ottawa on November 15, 1925. Also predeceased by her son Gary (2022), grandson Christopher (2014), grandson Brian (2024), sister Joan (2003), and brother Ted (1985).

Frances is survived by her loving family; two sons, Gordon and Brian, two daughters, Lynne and Betty-Ann, and their families.

Frances was a doting grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. 

Frances cherished her family and friends and every day looked forward to the many phone calls she received throughout the day.  Frances was a devout Catholic, who attended mass at Our Lady of Fatima on a regular basis.   She also enjoyed playing bridge and loved going to the casino.

Funeral mass be to be held on Wednesday, August 28^th, at 11 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 153 Woodroffe Ave., Ottawa, followed by internment and reception at Cole Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ALS Canada in memory of Gary Bylo.
