Obituary of Lois Wilhelmine Anglin

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother Lois Wilhelmine Anglin (nee Henderson) in her 93rd year. She was the devoted wife of her beloved husband Jack (deceased) and forever loved mother of Jackie Young (Gord) and Jill Webster (Terry). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Danny Young (Kelly), Daryl Young (Ally), Kelsey Mask (Dean), Brad Webster (Amy). 

She was cherished “GG" to 7 great grandchildren, Alison, Hannah, Tessa, Parker, Everleigh, Jack and Hunter. Predeceased  by her sister Beryl Darling, brother Donald Henderson and her parents, Warren and Lena (nee Greenham) Henderson. She graduated in 1953 as a registered nurse from the Ottawa Civic hospital. In later years she worked as a pharmacy assistant at Shoppers City Pharmacy in Ottawa until her retirement. She loved accompanying Dad on his bus trips, especially if they were heading to a casino. As well as playing the piano beautifully by ear, she will be remembered for her sense of humour, her kind and generous heart, playing cards, and amazing pie and cookie making skills.

Mom is at peace now and together again with the love of her life. There will be a private family ceremony. We would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Lanark Lifestyles Retirement Residence in Perth for caring for Mom. In memoriam donations may be made to the Hospital Foundation Perth site of the Perth and Smiths Falls Hospital or Salvation Army.
